Hi! I will be traveling from Bamberg to Prague via Nurnberg next month. The DB website shows I can take RE and bus for 58 euro total for 2 people. Is there any way to use the Bayern-Bohemia ticket to travel straight from Bamberg to Plzn and buy an additional pass to Prague from there? This, www.bahn.de/regio_ostbayern/view/guenstig_nach_tschechien.shtml, is the page for the Bayern-Böhmen-Ticket (in German). In Bavaria, it's just like the Bayern-Ticket (Die Angebote gelten innerhalb Bayerns wie ein Bayern-Ticket, "The offer is valid inside Bavaria like a Bayern-Ticket"), but it adds part of the Czech Republic up to Pilsen. Unfortunately the URL you provided is a schedule, which exprires after a time and we don't see anything. I believe the fare from Pilsen to Prague is about €6 equivalent pP in Czech Koruna plus €33 for the Bayern-Böhmen ticket, about €45. Not much of a saving vs the €58, but completely flexible.
