We are trying go from Balestrand to Bergen, via the Naeroyfjord. Evidently the Midtfjord will not be working this summer. Any help in scheduling transportation, express boats, ferries, buses, times, etc, would be appreciated.
Also would you recommend 3 night in Balestrand and 2 in Bergen or 2 nights in Balestrand and 3 in Bergen? Thank you.

We spent 3 nights in Balestrand (in 2007) and then 2 nights in Bergen. Balestrand is just very beautiful, and there is good hiking and day trips around. Bergen is a lovely city, but doesn't take much more than a day to see. I'm not sure about the transportation connections, though, sorry.
