Bonjour fellow travelers,
We'll be staying at a friends place in Bailly, France. We don't know what bus to take to get into Paris. They will be out of town so we are on our own. They can't help us about the public transportation since they drive everywhere. There is a bus stop on the main street of Bailly. Does anyone know what bus to take to the train station and what train to go to Paris? How could I look up bus schedules? Merci beaucoup! Funtraveler
Yes, Bailly, France 78870 next to NoisyLeRoi. I didn't know there was a train station in Bailly. We'll be at square des platanes, Bailly, France. I'm not sure if it's walkable if we have bags to carry. The bus stop is only 2 blocks from her house. From your reply it sounds like the train station is also 2 blocks. Never saw trains there. Thanks I will check on it and hope the train station is close to our street.
Merci beaucoup!
Merci beaucoup Steve! I can now enjoy our trip.
Go to the Transilien site using the link Steve gave. Click on "Adresse" and enter Allee des Platanes as your departure point. (I tried entering Square des Platanes as the address, but it didn't work.) Click on "Gare ou Station" and enter "Gare St Lazare - Paris" as your arrival point. Enter a departure date and time and click on "Search." You will be given timetables showing several routes. You will board a bus at the Mairie stop. Depending upon the departure time you choose, you will take a bus to either the Noisy-le-Roi train station or the Marly-le-Roi train station. After that you will have to take either one or two trains to get to Gare Saint-Lazare. All the details will be shown on the timetables.
The Transilien site doesn't list a train station for Bailly.
