Bahn schedule website

Is anybody but me having trouble accessing that website (http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en)? The connection keeps timing out. I've tried it on two different browsers. Is the website down for maintenance, or just too slow to load? I've had troubles the last week or so, but eventually it does load. I've also tried the German language version of the site and tried to get to it from Bahn.de. Nothing seems to work.

Just used it 5 minutes ago. Using the USA version.

That is because we finally succeeded in getting you added to the "Don't Not Load" terrorist watch list. Just cannot be too careful these days especially with old, gray hair, German-speaking, American engineers.

Works fine, as always, using bahn.de.... no problems at all.

Lee,

I used it a few minutes ago to research a trip, and it seemed to be working normally. I tried a "test run" just now before posting this reply and the results were displayed almost immediately (using a MAC with FireFox Browser).

The website I accessed was - https://www.bahn.com/i/view/USA/en/index.shtml

I've been wandering around the British version bahn.co.uk for the last few minutes with no issue.

Must be you, Lee.

Lee,

Perhaps it's time to upgrade to a Mac ;-)

If you still can't get to the Bahn website today, you may indeed have a computer problem. I just checked, and I had no problem following your link on my Windows 7 machine, on Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer.

No, Father, I will never go over to the dark side.

Incidentally, it's spontaneously started working again. Now it loads almost instantaneously. I can't find out how to set the time-out on my browser, but I think it is too low. When the Bahn website was busy and slow to respond, my browser wouldn't wait for it.

Or maybe my provider was blocking European websites for anti-terrorism. (Or maybe the TSA is intercepting my communications with Germany. Frank is right!)

Problem might be solved. I reset the router (note, reset, not rebooted). So far, so good.
