"Would like to stow my bag there before heading to Burg Eltz." Good idea since the station at Moselkern does not have lockers. The Bahn website has station layouts for a few Bahnhöfe in Germany, but not, apparently for Koblenz. I have an old layout at www.germantravel-info.com/bahnhöfe/koblenz.pdf that came with a schedule CD a few years ago. It shows the location of lockers in the Koblenz station, right around the Reisezentrum (it's the symbol of a suitcase with a key over it)

There are lockers in Koblenz in the hallways that run underneath and perpendicular to the platforms. Just go down the stairs from your train platform, and you are there. There are also a bunch at the north end of the station, near the DB Reisezentrum.
