BA Sale —-$750-$900 RT from east coast to Milan

I just checked prices for someone asking about the best time to purchase airfare to Italy. I checked Miami to Milan for two different time frames: July 25-August 8, and October 2-14. The summer price came to $907 RT and the autumn one $731 for those dates in Economy Basic. Some segments are on American or Iberia, butthe travel time is good ( no too-short or too-long layovers. I checked and re-checked as those seem too good to be true but Ingort the same result several times ( just now).

YMMV but it is worth a look if you are shopping. Sale runs through January 30 or 31.

I found some tasty prices on BA not too long ago, but the required flights only within a certain time period that didn't match our dates.

I sure hope someone here can take advantage of what you've found. Thank you!

I think flights to Milan from many US destinations are good. From July 14th on SFO to Milan looks real good, as low as 550 on different airlines if you don't come back for five weeks or more.

And of course those prices could disappear and everyone will think I’m crazy, but I did check several times and take screen shots. They were not bad flights—-13-15 hours total.

Edit: I just checked back and the October prices have not changed. I didn’t check the summer ones.

If we didn’t already have our flights for September (booked with miles on BA) I would be booking now.
