B&B on the Romantic Road

We are travelling there in October? Any suggestions between Fussen and Rothenberg?

There is a website for the Romantic Road at www.romanticroad.com, or, if you can read German, www.romantischestrasse.de.

I think if I were going to spend a night or two on the road (twix Füssen and Rothenburg), I would pick Nördlingen. Like Rothenburg, it has a nearly intact wall. Harburg, with a most interesting castle is only 15-20 minutes away by train; Dinkelsbühl, another walled city is less than an hour away by bus.

I am also going there in October and will be spending a night in Nördlingen.
