I recently reserved SuperShuttle for a CDG pickup and transfer to our apartment. The directions said to call a certain number when we had our baggage. We did so but were put on hold for 1/2 hour (I'm not exaggerating, I timed it)! No one ever answered. So we went outside to try to intercept a SS van. We saw one but the man refused to help us since he was waiting for a pickup. After another 1/2 hour of waiting and trying to convince him to take us since I had our reservation info, he FINALLY checked his list and found my name on it. My last name can be confused for a man's first name but he wouldn't even consider checking his list until we had begged for a long time. He was so sure he was right and we were wrong. Avoid SuperShuttle in Paris!
I avoid SuperShuttle everywhere. I had a ride reserved to pick me up at my home (Minneapolis) and take me to the airport. After waiting 30 minutes past the agreed-to pickup time, I called SuperShuttle and was told they had no record of my reservation. I hung up, called a cab and got to the airport in time. When you absolutely, positively have to be there, pay a little more and take a taxi.
After getting stood up by a taxi (no show) that was ordered by our hotel while I stood there, and then being told by the taxi company that no reservation was made, I now always ask the person on the phone their name and a confirmation number. No name or confirmation number, they do not get my business. Has always worked since.
We have had 5 good experiences with Supershuttle at CDG (both ways). Each reservation was pre-paid, with vouchers in hand - no problems. Every company has problems at one point or another... how they handle it is where the differences come in IMO. The service you received was definitely below par. However, I have heard many times that no one who services CDG has a good reputation for dealing with customers when problems arise...
