I am traveling with my son in Europe prior to when he is starting a semester of foreign exchange in England. We are wondering if we can bring a couple of extra pieces of luggage with us with items he will need at school and put them in locked storage lockers in the Frankfurt airport while we are traveling. We enter and leave Germany thru Frankfurt. Otherwise I will arrange to have them shipped to arrive in England close to his arrival. Does anyone know if such lockers are available and if there is a time limit on them? Thanks!

I cannot answer your question directly. We have been through Frankfurt many times but we never looking for lockers. All of the lockers I have seen in other locations had 24 hr limits. Lockers in airport are not as common as train stations. Are you staying overnight in Frankfurt. Perhaps a hotel would hold the luggage. Shipping heavy luggage to England will be very expensive.

Yes, there is an attended storage service on arrivals level of terminal 1 at FRA airport. It's between concourses A and B.
