I am going to Ireland in October. I intend to buy a car and car insurance. How can I request a car insurance rate. I do not yet own the car -- I can not give a registration # for a car I do not yet own??

I'm not sure anyone could give you a quote on the exact vehicle, but they should be able to give you quote based on your driving record, etc. I suggest you look up some Irish companies and give them a call to explain the situation.
