Auto Europe-France and Italy

Question regarding renting a car in France and Italy. I will be dropping off the car in Avignon and boarding a TVG train to Paris. The Auto Europe website is only giving me the option to drop off at the rail station Gare SNCF. Is this the rail station I will be using to take a TGV train to Paris. If not recomendations as to the best way to do this. Also on the symbols for the luggage for a 5 person car it shows 2 large and 2 small suitcases. I am assuming this means total number of suitcases not per person. But we will have a least 5 carryon size suitcases and a tote each. Will we fit? We will be 5 medium size women.

There are 2 rail stations in Avignon. You want the Avignon TGV station, which is on Chemin du Confluent. You should be OK in a big 5-2-2, such as a Renault Scenic.

You will be bumping butts in the back seat before you put the luggage in. Four carry-ons and two totes might fit in the trunk. You figure out the rest. If you leave one person home, some of the totes will still be on the floorboards.

Doesn't sound like a regular car would be comfortable, but the Scenic or similar would work nicely.
Are you picking up the car in Italy & paying a dropoff charge for Avignon?

I'm doing an Italy/France lease this Summer through Europe By Car. I searched online and got the spec's for the vehicle. I like to have the exact trunk dimensions. I also was able to find a Youtube video of the vehicle that showed the trunk and gave me a better idea of the capacity. If I were you I would do a Google search.

No it's not bags per person. It's the total bags the car will fit - anything more and the bags will be on your laps. We leased a Renault Grand Scenic II. It's a seven passenger car. We were two adults (average size adult male and female) plus a 16 and 12 boys and an 8 year old girl. Each of us had one carry-on bag except the girl, who brought only a daypack. The car was just right for us. If we were larger or carried more luggage, we would have been uncomfortable. The car you describe will probably work well for 4 adults with one carry-on each. You will probably need more than that.
