Austia to US via Zurich

My best option for a flight home from Vienna includes a 1-1/2 layover in Zurich. I'd be flying in to and out of Zurich on Swiss Air. Is 1-1/2 hour enough time for the transfer? What kind of passport and security checks will be needed? Thanks!

1.5 hours should be enough time, 1 hour would be cutting it a little close. You will have to go through both immigration, and security before boarding your flight.
