Atlanta Airport and Delta's Change to my intinerary

Delta has made a change to my intinerary. My group (5) will land in Atlanta from Zurich at 2:25 pm. My connecting flight will leave at 3:38 pm. I have never been to Atlanta Airport, is this possible? to make this flight with this short connecting time and to also go through customs. My original intinerary had more time. Any advise, opinions or suggestions is appreciated.
Thanks gang.

You will land in Terminal E. Then you have to collect your bags (if checked) then go through customs and immigration then go through security as "we don't trust them". The other terminals are all connected by a tram from Terminal E. Generally international flights have a better on-time record due to the fact that they don't do immediate turnarounds or stopovers so they don't lose time when other cities have problems. If you are in the back of the plane, walk slowly or have checked luggage, you might end up at the back of the lines. In that case, you are cutting it close.

That seems pretty short to me. Atlanta is a big airport, and in particular, Delta's hub. I'd call.

Ask them what the minimum connection time is for International to Domestic. If it's under that time, they should re-accommodate you.

Hope it goes well!

Hey Chris and John,
Thank you for your input. I got Delta to change it,with no problems, now our group will be leaving at 4:51 pm instead of the 3:38 pm. I believe that will be for the better. I am not as fast as I use to be.
