I haven't flown in a long time, and I was wondering if all bags get x-rayed? If they do, is it okay to put my digital camera, iPod, and debit & credit cards through the x-ray, or should I take those out of my carry-on first?

Yes, everything will x-rayed as you pass through security. Nothing on your list will be affected by the x-ray scanners there.

Just FYI, those things shouldn't be in your checked luggage unless you are sure you won't need them when you get there. They rummage through my suitcase every time I fly and I wouldn't want that much temptation for those checkers.
