Yes, hopefully! Looks good right now: Britain's air traffic control body said airspace in Scotland, parts of the north of England and Northern Ireland would reopen on Tuesday.

Per The Seattle Times, Frankfurt is allowing Lufthansa to operate some flights today, and should be re-opened by tomorrow, along with Munich and Dusseldorf.

Thanks for posting that! That is indeed good news (especially for those of that will be travelling soon). Hopefully the flights to Frankfurt will resume shortly as well.

Al Rocer on the Today show just announced that the jet stream will change a bit by Saturday, clearing Europe from the ash cloud....let's hope he is correct!

Brussels is gradually opening their airspace. Hopefully it is complete by tomorrow... my rescheduled flight leaves tomorrow afternoon!

Was just watching MSNBC earlier and they were reporting that the greater London airports were remaining closed due to more eruptions but that is not true. They had a guy reporting from Iceland who stated that there have been no new eruptions but the wind patterns had changed and was moving the ash cloud. I've been watching this intently because I'm flying to London the first week of May.
