Hi. Can someone verify if the armrests between regular economy seats on SAS flights between Seattle and Copenhagen (Airbus A340) can be raised? I'm talking about the cheapo seats with another seat in front of them. They apparently can't be raised in Economy Plus/Extra or bulkhead seats because the tray and video screen are in the armrest, but what about the other seats where the video screen is on the seat in front of you?

They will show you the good seats and the ones to avoid.
Thanks, but the problem I'm having with sites like this or SeatGuru is that they'll tell you that the armrests can't be raised on certain seats, but they don't really explicitly say that they CAN be on the others. I mean, I could assume they can be raised on regular non-bulkhead seats, sure, but I want to know for certain before we book and regret it. (I have a particular reason for needing it up at least half the flight and really don't want to fly BA and transfer through Heathrow again, lol.)
Greetings
My memory from going on SAS from Copenhagen to New York was that the armrests did raise. I've only ever encountered fixed armrests in bulkhead rows.
You might want to get the aisle or window seat, depending on which side you need raised unless you are traveling with someone who will be next to you - remember that the person in the seat next to you may not want the armrest raised. Airplane seats are narrow enough these days and unfortunately there are more than a few people who will try to take up more than their space. I'm certainly not saying this is the case for you, but if you need the space for medical reasons, you might want to enquire with the airline about getting in a row where there is more space. If you meet the requirements, exit row seats sometimes are spaced wide apart.
But do avoid Heathrow and BA!
