We need to get from Arles to Pont de Gard without a car. It seems we need to take a bus to Nimes, then to Pont de Gard? What is the best way, and which stations do we use? Gwen Sailer

Buses run to Pont du Gard from Nimes and also from Avignon and Uzes. Updated bus line numbers are important and I don't have those, these can perhaps best be obtained by getting Rick's book Provence & the French Riviera 2011, which has the details. Su8ggest you avoid going on Sundays, the number of buses is greatly curtailed on Sundays.
