Hellow! Would it be worthy to rent a car in Arles to drive to Nice? or taking the train is a better option.

It's a 3.5hr trip by train or 7.0hrs round trip. Also, I see only two train for the day getting there (10:59 and 16:59). For the return, I again see only two trains (10:57 and 15:27). The way I see it, you will have about 1hr before you have get to the last train coming back. Hardly worth leaving the train station. I would suggest considering a rental car so that you can leave earlier and return much later in the evening.

Are you wanting to travel round trip, or are you just wanting to know how to get from Arles to Nice?

Planning on staying in Nice overnight or maybe 2 nights then returning to Paris.

Hard to answer. I've taken the train. Pleasant and easy. I'm sure a car would be nice also. Depends on what you want to see, what you schedule is.

Are you wanting to see sites on the way to Nice, or are you just wanting to go straight to Nice? If you want to straight there, take the train. If you want to stop off in different towns along the way, rent a car.
