Three weeks from today, we are taking an Uber to Terminal 8 at JFK. I know that last year at the same time (Christmas Eve) it was difficult to approach that terminal by car--we took the tram. Does anyone know if passengers can actually be dropped off at Terminal 8? If not, where is the drop off? I've read JFK's webpage and it appears that the new roadways are finished. TIA.
Addendum: conversely, when being picked up on our return to Terminal 8, how close can an Uber get to that Terminal or do we have to meet somewhere such as in a lot?

I was actually just dropped off by car at JFK Terminal 8 a few days ago, so can confirm it is possible. However with all the construction the road signs are very hard to read and the turnoff for Terminal 8 in particular is very easy to miss.

Thank you, Cat. So the construction aftermath is still evident. We'll be on the alert along with our Uber driver for the signs.
