I have tried calling NWA a few times in the last 2 days, to see baout my flight, which leaves tomorrow for Amsterdam. I keep getting the: due to an extremely high call volume, we cannot take your call at this time.' message. VERY frustrating. Also, when I logged in at 4 today to check -in for my flight, the exit row/ bulkhead/ premium/ extra roomy seats were not released for selection/purchase-- as the website said they would be. I logged in, literally within a minute of being able to check in. I would like to talk to a live person, but i cannot seem to get through. :( anyone else having this problem? I have always flown northwest, and this is the first time I have had a problem.
I agree -- I love NWA but I assume they're going through complications associated with the transition to Delta's system. Good luck with your trip!
We had similar problems when we left a little more than two weeks ago. Once we got to the airport, we found the flight had been EXTENSIVELY overbooked. Rumor was that the Delta system and the NWA system aren't talking to each other yet, so both are selling the same seats.
