Anyone fly with Condor Airlines

Has anyone flown from the USA to Frankfort on Condor Airlines? They have a direct flight from Seattle to Frankfort, and their fare is at least $500 less than United Airlines or Delta which do not have direct flights, and significantly more savings than Lufthansa which does have a direct flight. Are there any downsides to using Condor (eg an aging fleet, minimal in-flight service) or is this a gift to flyers who happen to live near one of the cities from which Condor operates out of the USA?

Condor is a low-budget airline affiliated with Lufthansa. No inflight entertainment (10.5 hours with no tv's), pay for seats reservations, etc. I flew the same route two years ago and had no issues. There was a bit of a herd mentality from check in especially on the return flight in Frankfurt. Think Southwest Airlines. They got us there. As they say, equal number of take offs and landings.

I used them for a Seattle to Frankfurt flight in October. I upgraded to Premium Economy for a few hundred dollars more each way and felt it was worth it. The Coach cabin is your typical small seat cabin, but no worse than any other airline. Condor is an awesome option out of Seattle and I have purchased seats with them for a flight in June. I have no complaints. Their lines in Frankfurt for check in were long the two times I was there, but with a Premium Economy ticket I was able to avoid those lines.

We have flown Condor several times with no complaints. Consider it a gift. We have taken inexpensive repositioning cruises from Florida to Italy, Spain and Germany and use Condor to get back home because they are much cheaper and the only airline I've found that allows one-way travel for a reasonable cost.

You can see a writeup on them in Wikipedia.com. They're owned by Thomas Cook Travel, and have 39 planes. They have 23 Airbus planes, 13 Boeing 757 and 13 Boeing 767 planes. I wouldn't hesitate to use'em. The price is right, too.
