We are booked with them from Manchester-Venice in October. They have very tight baggage restrictions
One carry on only...and the size if max 19 inches and max 10kg
my carry on I am getting which is 19 inches will be fine, my travel partners is 21 inches.
I am wondering how picky they are about exact size and exact weight?
I paid to check bags just in case but I would rather not if I could get away with it

If it's a 21" soft bag that can have a compression strap thrown on, it might be fine. Might. A 21" roller won't get by a European budget airline because this is how they make their money.
