Any feedback on Norwegian Airlines?

I just found a $1330 roundtrip business class fare from New York to Paris in September on Norwegian Air. Does anyone have any experience with this low cost airline? Thanks.

Love them.
Norwegian is my go-to European airline....although I wish they served PDX. I have to go to OAK or LAX to catch a flight. I have never flown their business class, but I did fly round trip LAX to CDG in October for under $600.

They have the big legacy airlines running scared. They have had to drop their airfares dramatically which has been great for us, the customers.
We are getting ready to fly for the 4th time across the Atlantic with them. I don't mind picnicking to save big bucks. No problems of any kind.
Our flight back from Dublin will be on one of their new Boeing 737 Max planes--fkrst of a new generation airplane. But it is not a wide cabin ride.

a friend took them on a vacation from the West Coast last summer. Her family lost a full day of their vacation because their plane had a mechanical issue and no replacement was possible. They had to wait until the following day and it was iffy if there would be room on that flight. Hopefully it works out better for you.

Norwegian has the youngest fleet of work!and of any airline. They are taking on new service cities as fast as Boeing can build the Dreamliners. Now they are taking deliveries of the new generation Boeing 737 Max--a stretched plane with big tanks and the newest airplane to receive FAA flight approval.

You may want to compare seat types and know what seats you will get. They are not equivalent to business class seats on other airlines, think of US Domestic first class seats. There are videos of people flying Norwegian online if you want to take a look.

Don't forget to bring your travel documents with you. They tell to be sure to print it and bring it with you but in this age of e-tickets, you might not do so and that would be a problem. Airplanes are nice and new and supposedly you arrive feeling less jet lagged. I have not flown on them yet but I gave two relatives tickets to Paris and they said that business class was great but bear in mind they have never flown in business class before. They got a meal, the ability to check extra two bags instead of one, and Access to the priority line at CDG and they said they felt great when they landed -- not as jet lagged as they had thought they would be but that could be because they were young honeymooners. Here is the review I read before I bought the tickets: https://thepointsguy.com/2016/01/norwegian-air-787-premium-london-to-new-york-review/ and I would say that their in-flight experience pretty much matched up to the review. It was between Norwegian and La Compagnie and Norwegian was about $1,000 cheaper for two tickets.

We are flying on this airline this upcoming summer for the first time. I booked my flights for my summer trip back in December and then just last week Norweigian canceled a route so they had to reschedule my flight. I was traveling from Bergen, Norway to Providence, RI in July and they decided to no longer have that route. They were nice and accommodating on the phone when rescheduling that flight. They put us on a different flight, which wasn't as great as that direct flight, but they were accommodating and helpful and worked with me to get another flight that worked with my schedule. They did not charge for this change because they cancelled the flight, but I was happy to know of this change way ahead of time and I was happy with their customer service when dealing with this matter. I have heard that the lower-cost airlines and the newer airlines tend to switch/change/cancel routes, as that is what seemed to happen with my Bergen to Providence route. So, my best advice would be to just be wary of the flights to smaller airports because those flights seem to be more likely to be changed.

You might like to take a look at La Compagnie, a boutique business class only airline offering return flights NY to Paris for $1600. I know it's $300 more than Norwegian but it looks a much better experience. https://www.lacompagnie.com/en
