does anyone have experience with the rail and drive passes. It gives a great rate for short term car rental, but I was wondering if the vouchers cover all costs including theft insurance in Italy. Also wondering how far in advance you have to make the car reservations - is there an opportunity for spontaneity and reserve a car a day or two in advance.
