I'm in Paris for 5 days and am wondering if there's a Metro card for discounted travel on Metro or a bus for that matter.
I know most cities here in the States offer a tourist card of some sort.

Paris is a very walkable city, so I usually bypass the passes available in favour of a "Carnet" of metro tickets. You get 10 tickets for 11.40 Euro, compared to the usual fare of 1.60 Euro. They can be used on the Metro, on buses, and on the RER lines inside Paris. Simply ask for "un car-NAY" at any metro ticket office. My wife and I rarely get thru 2 carnets during a week's stay.
