Any comments/concerns about airfare.com

Hello everyone,

I got a flight quote from www.airfare.com (off of kayak.com) for multiple airlines (out of Boston to Milan on United; out of Milan to Boston on Lufthansa). I have never purchased tickets from them before plus I've never gone on two different airlines before.
Anyone have any compliments or complaints about their website? Thanks in advance.

I have never used Airfare.com, but to address one fear, United and Lufthansa are both Star Alliance members meaning it would not be unusual at all for them to share routes or for you to travel on both. One thing you can try is to go to the United (or Lufthansa) website and price the same ticket. If they meet the price, deal directly with them.
