Another train reservation question

I have two reservations I want to make from Geneva to Barcelona and Barcelona to Paris on June 16th and June 20th.

If I book through raileurope.com right now it would cost $128 (two person reservatiion) for Geneva to Barcelona and $135 (two person reservation) from Barcelona to paris. Would it be cheaper to make these reservations when I first land in Rome at the train station? Can you make a reservation for another countries train system?

Last question, if my 21 day continious pass ends on June 20th, can I take a night train that leaves at 9pm on June 20th for a train that arrives in Paris on the 21st?

Thank you

Yes, buying reservations in Europe will be cheaper than buying them from Rail Europe. However, as I told you in a PM, popular night trains can sell out many weeks in advance. If you wait until you get to Europe, all accommodations are likely to be gone.

According to this page, all travel must both begin and end within the validity period of the pass. You won't be covered for a ride that begins on the 20th and ends on the 21st.
