thanks for the help. my question is; on July 30th we will be going by train from Florence to Venice. I see on the schedule that it runs every hour. can we be flexible with our times and have no problem with buying tickets when we get to Florence? we will be arriveing by bus from Greve and would like to take our time since we will have a long day in Venice because we are takeing the night train out to Munich. or should we lock up a time when were in Rome 6 days earlier on the 24th? thanks again

If comfortable with locking a time in Rome do it. You might catch a discount. But I am not understanding you comment about a night train from Venice to Florence. It is not far enough to have a good night train.

hello, forgot to say we have a night train from Venice to Munich at 11:00 pm, and that we will be in Venice for awhile, and want to be flexible in our scheduled arivail time, if there are no worries about buying a ticket the same day out of Florence? our other planned schedules are prety much set, but would like to be more flexible on our times from Florence to Venice. sorry for not mentioning that we are leaveing Venice to Munich overnight. thank you

I would say that you are fine to wait till that day. I have never encountered a full time in Italy.
