An affordable place to dine in Paris?

Phillipe's La Varangue near the Rue Cler. They are open for lunch, usually, and for dinner beginning at 5:30. Between 12-20 Eu per person for an evening meal (depending on what and how much you order), with a small family restaurant ambience. The food is really good, too. And afterwards you can stroll over to look at the Eiffel Tower.

I like La Varangue, but it is a very basic place -- you might want something a little nicer for a special occassion, like a birthday.
