Amsterdam to Shannon Ireland

Hi there.
I need to figure out the best/cheapest way to get from Amsterdam to Shannon Ireland. It doesn't seem as though Ryan Air leaves from Amsterdam and other flights are pretty pricey. Would I be better taking a train somewhere first?

You could fly from Amsterdam to Dublin on Aer Lingus and then take the bus to Shannon. Or you could take a train from Dublin to Limerick and a bus from there to Shannon.

Any thoughts on Easy Jet.com? I found a cheap ticket from Amsterdam to Gatewick. Then I would switch to Ryanair to fly into Shannon. I have hear a lot about Ryanair, but not easyjet.

EasyJet is an excellent budget airline. You would arrive at Gatwick at 09:10 and depart on Ryanair at 12:05. With budget airlines you need to allow lots of connection time because you will have to retrieve your luggage and then check in for your next flight, all without missing the check-in deadline. If you miss it, your ticket is worthless and you'll have to buy a new one at full fare on a later flight.
