Hi all (again)
I will be traveling form Amsterdam to Mondovi Italy.
I want to consider all my options both the speedy and the scenic.
Obviously I can fly from Amsterdam to Turin then make my way to Mondovi which is south of Turin by about 1.25 hours. I am curious if anyone would care to recommend any other scenic or interesting routes. i.e train, canal, river. I can make the trip in one day or 2 depending on how interesting the travel is. I have considered going south and east through France and over into Italy. I have not yet studied a map or train routes closely. Thought I would start here for advice. Thanks for your feedback.

I see we don't have any answer for you. I haven't done that route. What I would suggest is, and this is what I'd do myself:

and use the driving route sites
and the train schedule sites
to try to figure this out.
