Amsterdam taxi late (23:30)

I booked a canal cruise with Blue Boat cruise (across from Hardrock cafe). Now I'm wondering if I will have a problem catching a taxi when it's over at 23:30...I'll be with my young daughter and would not feel safe walking far that late at night to Hotel Pulitzer. Do I need to call ahead to schedule or will there be plenty of taxis in this area?

You'll have zero problems catching a taxi. There is a taxi stand at nearby Leidseplein next to the tram stop: http://goo.gl/maps/ZfKp. Across the street from the boat dock is the Marriott hotel, there is a good chance there will be taxi's waiting there as well. Amsterdam is a seven-day a week party city, so there are zillions of taxis zipping around from midnight till dawn every night.
