Amsterdam --> Dusseldorf (Weeze Airport)

Dear Travel Experts :

After a short time in Amsterdam we are flying out of Dusseldorf Weeze airport... Our flight is at 6:40am early Monday morning (gross, i know.. but if you only knew how cheap it was!). We are sleeping at the airport, and we want to maximize the amount of time we are in Amsterdam (and minimize time in the airport). The only train I can find is the IC train and its last departure is at 6:30pm! Being at the airport from 9pm on is not ideal. Help!

Does anyone have any tips for transportation (minus driving in the dark?) Maybe a bus?

onlineboeken.nshispeed.nl <--this is the only website with details that I could find.

Thanks!
Nicole

There is a bus leaving at 0:30am (half an hour past midnight) from Amsterdam that gets to airport Weeze at 4 a.m. You must reserve at least one day in advance; the bus will only go if there are passengers. Parties of 8 can privately book. The website is www.airexpressbus.com.
This info is from the Duesseldorf Weeze website (in English); www.airport-weeze.de; look under arriving and departing by bus and train. They also say the info is not guaranteed, check with the bus company.

Realistically, Weeze is just another ploy by RyanError to pretend to service major areas. There is only bus service from Weeze.

Does anyone know "how cheap it was!". I guess you get what you pay for. You will have to spend the night in the airport. Have you even determined if you can do that? Weeze is a very small airport; are they open all night?
