Should I book this train ASAP? Or can I just get them on the fly, when I am in Amsterdam?
I am going from hoek van holland @ 2200 on a night ferry over to harwich.
does this train stop in rotterdam?

Domestic trains in Holland don't accept advance reservations. But, you shouldn't have any problems getting a seat.
goooood, thanks!
how about going from harwich to london? should I book those in advance, or not?
BTW, I can pick up tickets at the train station for the amsterdam to hoek ones correct?
You should book the ferry tickets in advance. You can use any train station in Holland to purchase rail tickets to anywhere.
Yup, I got a ferry for overnight from hook of holland to harwich...departs 2200, arrives 630 in harwich.
91 GBP seems high, but at least we got a cabin, which should be pretty cool/interesting.
I have been through the chunnel, but never on a ferry over that open water!
Enjoy. The best overnight ferry trip in Europe is between Stockholm and Helsinki; the scenery is spectacular!
oohhh, I will have to add that to my list for our next trip! Thanks :)
