For those not in the American Advantage program - who would not have gotten the email announcement - there is a sale going on at AA for flights to various Europe locations booked though September 18. Link to the terms is https://www.aa.com/en-us/europe-deals. Outbound and inbound dates vary and are in the conditions at the bottom. Seems pretty good, I scored an open jaw from Philadelphia into Zurich and back from Rome in April for $496, which could not have been done as an Italy only trip my dates because of said conditions, starting too late for Italy
