American Airlines office in Paris

Anyone with access to the internet and a printer can print a boarding pass. Every hotel I know will/can do it for you. Need a better explanation of your problem before anyone can really answer your question.

Last year when we were in Paris I went to an internet place to print my boarding pass. It would not allow me for security reasons which I never understood. The error message was about my name not matching my travel documents, which it did. At the CDG airport I went to the AA desk and they also had trouble processing it. This took about 20 minutes. I hope to avoid this when I travel again in 2 weeks. I contacted the AA customer service here, but they could not help because everything appeared to be in order. So I thought that going to the AA office in Paris could help. Can you advise. Thank you

Before hitting the panic button and deciding nothing works, why not ask you hotel to print the pass? We have always done that with no problem. Internet cafes are not eager to download anything for fear of a virus so I could see why you had a problem at a cafe. Not sure what the problem would have been at the airport.

Thank you for your response, however I am renting an apartment and not sure if a hotel would accommodate me if I am not a guest. I might try it though.

It is difficult to give a good response when you do not get full information with the question. If you do not have access to a computer/printer then, obviously, you may have to use the AA office in Paris and I am sure they will print the boarding pass for you. Doubt if a hotel would be interested in helping you if you are not a guest.

Sylvia, I can't resist asking. What is the problem you are trying to solve? Why not just get your boarding pass at the airport when you check in to board your flight? What am I missing?

Thank you Yes I know I can get my boarding pass at the airport but it less of a hassle to have it in hand upon arrival. It is just one less thing to worry about especially since I encountered a problem before and it was an anxious 20 minutes. I would prefer to have any problems ironed out the day before, rather than praying it is settled before my plane departs. So, does anyone know if the AA office in Paris provides this service

Sylvia, Why not just call AA and ask if the Paris office will print the boarding pass for you? I can't imagine why they wouldn't. And if they won't then, you get it at the airport. We all did that for decades before they allowed us to print them in advance and it really worked out fine. Particularly today when there are self-service kiosks at the airport with AA personal standing by to help you if you have trouble. I am sympathetic to your wish not to experience the anxiety that you had last time, but it sounds like it was an anomaly and it all worked out. 20 minutes is not that long on the anxiety meter. ; ) I had a trip booked through Air Canada once that had a good two hours of anxiety while we negotiated with strike fill-ins to give me an endorsed ticket to American Airlines.
