Amalfi- Rail or Bus?

Need your advice...
I will be traveling from Rome and staying 2 nights in Amalfi in June. I have read about the bus service (Marozzi) that takes you all the way from Rome to Amalfi (and it specifically says it is a much better idea than it sounds at first). It says it leavea round 6am and gets you there at approx. 10:30am for roughly 20Euros one way person. The rail is obviously more expensive, but I have found the following train option......
6:45 AM Roma Termini 9:16 AM Salerno 0 2h 31min

Journey Details

Jun 2008 6:45 AM Roma Termini Jun 2008 9:16 AM Salerno

Any advice on whether to take the bus system or the train?

From what I see, the Marozzi bus leaves the Tiburtina train station and travels to the Amalfi Coast. The Tiburtina train station is 4 stops away from the Termini train station on Metro Line B. The bus leaves Monday-Thursday at 3 PM and on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 7 AM according to local hotel information. The bus stop in Amalfi is at the parking lot of the Hotel Onda Verde although there may be others.

Although the bus run looks really good, you may find the schedule a bit limiting. If you want other options, there are two. The first is the Trentialia train out of Rome Termini to Salerno and then a SITA bus from there into Amalfi. The second is a Trenitalia train to Naples where you change to the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento and finally, the SITA bus from the Sorrento train station to Amalfi. The trains and buses on these options run much more frequently. Message back if you want links to the train and bus schedules.

The bus service from Rome sounds like a great deal. And you miss the train-train-bus sequence of the conventional route.
