alternate transportation paris to london

Help! My perfect, once in a lifetime trip, is being ruined by the chunnel fire. I know I sound selfish but I would like to save the 2 days I had planned in Paris. Now that Eurostar suggests only essential travel and long delays my trip from London to Paris on Wed. thru Friday (Sept. 24-26) is off. If I can change my flight to go into Paris I could go to London on the 26th (Friday) but HOW other than the train thru the chunnel? I can't take a ferry due to motion sickness. Any ideas will be welcome. Thanks, nancy

Sorry, wasn't thinking, you have left it all so late( not that you had a lot of chance to book far ahead) that the cheapo airlines are likely not so cheap.

Fly there are many cheapo airlines,, and it is fast, worst part is going to be finding a seat now( bet they got really busy) and finding your way to and from airports( tip, try and get a flight into either Charles De Gaulle or Orly airport, Beauvais is farther out and not as easy to get into Paris as other two airports) .

Try lots of cheapo airlines.

Your one budget airline choice is London Luton-Paris CDG on easyJet. Unfortunately, at this late date you will pay a premium price, not a budget price, for your tickets. If you want to maximize your time in Paris and are willing to pay the price, leave London Luton on Wednesday at 06:00 (current fare is £149.99) and leave CDG at 21:45 on Friday (current fare is £293.54).
