Any comments on this process or just Alsa in general? I'm looking at taking the bus as a cost effective alternative to flying. Is that a good idea? What should I expect from this journey? Any tips, etc.

I was hoping that you'd have a response here as I have the same situation. Have you already been on your trip. Where would you be meeting this Alsa bus?

Not sure about the bus, but our trip in a couple of weeks from Lisbon to Sevilla, via Tapair is under $80EUR/pp one way.
