Alitalia website

I have been trying to view my upcoming itinerary on Alitalia. I can't seem to find a link to a page to review itineraries. Has anyone used their website? Is there such a link? Thanks

Not necessarily, Jean...if you got most of your points through flying then you've proved you're a loyal customer and they'll want to keep you happy. If you accrued those miles through third parties, then the airline has already been paid for those miles.

You won't know until you contact them.

When is your flight? You may want to call the airline.

It's highly possible that Alitalia will cease flying as of tomorrow, Monday, Sept. 15. When it will resume, or what flights will continue is anyone's guess. But if some kind of deal isn't made today, Alitalia will shut down. That could be temporary or permanent. No one knows.

Yes, Frank. After reading a few posts here, I Googled the airline and read the articles. Doesn't look good. Hopefully calm heads will prevail and there will be a financial bailout. Luckily, I booked my trip in October through Delta and I just have one leg of the itinerary on an Alitalia plane as a codeshare from JFK to Rome. Hopefully, Delta would place me on another flight if Alitalia goes under.

You should be okay since technically, you have a Delta ticket.

Should Alitalia cease operating, call Delta ASAP because they may have limited seating on any decent alternatives and you want to be one of the first to get the best choices.

Thanks for the advice. To complicate things just a little, our trip was booked with Skymiles. Hopefully I won't have to find out whether or not that will be an issue in rebooking. My friends who are going with me booked with Alitalia right from JFK. They do have travel insurance though. We will see how it goes. I am sending good thoughts to Italy today. :)

Shouldn't be an issue except that FF tickets likely have a lower priority to be rebooked than other tickets.
