Sorry, I know this is not a question about Europe, but I'm hoping my Canadian friends can help me. What is the main airport in Montreal? I am looking at flights from Denver and from Chicago to YUL. All I can find is connecting flights on small planes. Am I looking at the right airport? Your help is appreciated as always.
Yes, YUL is the main airport for Montreal. My guess is that since the traffic between DEN and YUL isn't that great the airlines don't put big planes on that route and/or don't have many direct flights.
I guess that depends on your definition of "small planes". I just did a quick search on kayak, and see 737s connecting to regional jets in/out of Montreal. They're hardly what I'd call "small planes". They're jets. Really, I'd worry about other things.
Marcie,
There seems to be lots of choices on that route, but all of the flights I looked at had at least one change in Chicago, Toronto or elsewhere.
Air Canada has flights from DEN to YUL via Toronto, mostly using the Embraer regional jet (similar to the CRJ). They're a nice airplane to travel in, but the overhead bins are ridiculously small!
Good luck!
