Only one US airline, Alaska (our personal favorite) made the top 10, and only two European carriers—-TAP and Virgin Atlantic. The others in the top 10 are all South Pacific ( Qantas and Air New Zealand), Asian, or Middle Eastern.

The progression of my thoughts after skimming the article:
First: "Suspect methodology."
Second: "One really only needs to be on a 'safe enough' airline, not an airline on a top 10 list created by suspect methodology. Why do we have to rank order everything anyways?"
Third: "Oh, yeah. So media companies can create articles that get clicks that drive advertising dollars."
Fourth: "Drat. I fell for their ruse."
