Our flight departs for the US at 9:10 from MXP How early should we arrive at the airport. Is there any lodging that you would recommend near the airport ?
If not, what is the best means to get to the airport at the time we have to leave in the morning.

Agriturismo Cascina Aguzza and Albergo Fontana are available on Booking.com for reasonable prices. The agriturismo is just 2.7 miles away.
Most of the hotels around MXP are in the $300-$400 range.

If your flight goes straight to the US you should be at the airport at least 2 hours prior to departure. Check in closes 1 hour prior to departure. If you flight goes to a EU hub first, arrive there at least 75 min prior to departure. Check in closes 35 to 45 min prior to departure for intra EU flights.
The train ride from Milan to MXP is 30 min. Search for Malpensa Express to find schedule. Malpensa Express operates from both Milano Centrale and Milano Cadorna stations. Choose the station most convenient to your accommodations.
