Air Transportation to Adriatic

We are planning to take the Best of the Adriatic in Sept. Does anyone have any experience regarding possible air line connections to accommodate the trip.

Larry, my husband went on the Adriatic tour in September and flew Salt Lake to CDG to LJU (Ljubljana). I used itasoftware.com to figure out what was available but "purchased" his points ticket through US Bank (which uses travelocity). To meet up with me in Venice, I used skyscanner.net to find flights from DBV (Dubrovnik), to Vienna to VCE. (US$318 so definitely not cheap! Flying was best for him since we were meeting up with another couple and short on time.) His return flight was out of Rome (to CDG, SLC and then home) but his flight out of Rome was late so he missed his connection in Paris. I recommend a 2-hour layover in Paris--actually, I recommend going through AMS instead!!!
Hope this helps! He thoroughly enjoyed the Best of the Adriatic!!!

In response to the OP, I am considering some of the Eastern European tours. Looking at the Easyjet site, it seems that they will have numerous connections this summer, after July 1. Before that, I found flights more limited. I looked at Easyjet connections between a few Italian cities and a couple of cities on the Adriatic. I was also considering train transport between Venice and Ljubljana via Trieste. It looks possible. Ferried run between Dubrovnik and Bari, Italy. I would consider that, too.
