We are planning a trip to Malta from Rome. I have read that air Malta will no longer be in service as of the end os 2023. Does anyone have any suggestions for direct flights to Malta from FCO. I found a great flight but concerned about booking it if they are not going to be business next spring.
The flights on Air Malta were nonstop.

ITA has daily direct flights from Rome to Malta.

Air Malta will be replaced similar to the way ITA replaced Alitalia. In fact, the EU wants Malta to follow the same guidelines Italy used to change their airlines.
