Has anyone had trouble with the 21inch carry-on at Air France? It appears their dimensions are slightly smaller than the Rick Steeves 21 inch carry-on. Air France was
vague in their reply. If asked it has to fit in their test
unit.

We flew AF on May 21/22 from SEA to Paris to Istanbul and then on June 11 from Istanbul to Paris and on June 12 from Paris to Seattle. On NONE of those flights did our carry-ons get measured or weighed. Luck of the draw? Maybe, but we were in compliance anyway.

Jerry, i flew twice with air france, both time with carry on, once they actually weight it, and we had to check it, and last year they did not even look at it! I think i would worry more about your weight than about the inches.
