My wife and I are planning a trip to Europe in late September. Our planned entry point is Paris. Any thoughts on purchasing tickets now or waiting until after the summer? ..when?

This is always a hot topic. If you find a fare that you deem "a great deal" get it. My suggestion is to sign up for the emails to the carriers that flies to Paris, and see what efares they send.
Kayak.com is a good source in finding which carrier is offering the best rate (as of today), but as in anything, prices are subject to change without notice

You can also track fares by using Kayak.com's e-mail alert feature. The Buzz "Fare Alert" feature will send you a daily e-mail so you can see the trends to decide when it's the right time to purchase! Click on "Lowest Fare" from your nearest airport to CDG for September.
