It may take you an hour to get to the office. Usually they don't stay open that late. Read the rental agency webpage.
If it doesn't reveal that info, look for a toll free phone number and talk with an agent about it. Failing that, email them.

Zadar airport website shows 5 rental car agencies. Hertz, Avis, National and Dollar websites should list their hours. The 5th agency named Lulic is Croatian. You can e-mail them at [email protected] to inquire about hours or delivery. I rented from another Croatian agency named Uniline last year (but not in Zadar). I think they have a Zadar in-town location and they definitely deliver, but maybe not that late at night. Their website is www.uniline.hr.
