My family and I are booked on an Aeroflot flight to Barcelona, has anyone else flown with them? Any tips? Thanks in advance!!
I flew with them several times. Like any other airline.
My step-daughter flew on Aeroflot to Rome a couple of years ago. Her one complaint was the 11 hour layover time in the Moscow airport, causing the loss of most of a day in Rome. I grant you she should have been aware of that beforehand.
When I had to go from New York to Moscow in 2010 (my sister was living there at the time), the choices for nonstop were Delta and Aeroflot. Aeroflot was over $200 cheaper; I was worried, but my sister reassured me that the flight would be fine (she had taken both) and it was. The plane was a new Airbus (with USB charging jacks at every seat), the food and service were fine (certainly no worse than Delta), the clientele was fine, etc.
I have no experience on other Aeroflot routes; I assume the JFK to Moscow route is a prime route for them, since they have competition on that one.
As Norma says, do be sure to check on the connection and layover times.
