Aerlingus.com BILLING question...

Hi Guys,
Just wondering if anyone here has bought an online Aer Lingus ticket lately. When do they bill you - right before you leave? The reason I ask is that I got my most recent credit card statement and the charge for the ticket wasn't on it? Anyone else have this problem?

First, double check that you actually have a confirmed reservation. It would be unusual for the charge not to be put through on the day of the reservation. It is possible the charge for the ticket did not go through or was reject for various reasons. Check you credit card to make sure that it did not come through later. If it is still not showing up, then I would be very concerned that I did not have a reservation.

They tend to charge your card a little later than most airlines. I have flown with them 5 times in the last 6 years and it always takes them 2-4 weeks to process your credit card, but you should have a reservation. Give them a ring if you want piece of mind.
